How do I get started?
Send us an email with your contact information and mailing address if you would like a free copy of the demo dvd. Visit our Get Started page or Contact page for more information.

What makes your service different from other online services that offer free or cheaper slideshows?
First of all the service is usually never free. You usually have to pay for higher quality and a DVD copy. Also, the service is often complicated to use and requires hours and hours of work from uploading pictures and video to adding transitions, titles, dedications, organizing pictures, editing video, managing music, printing DVD labels, etc. Most services do not offer photo editing or adding video clips and adding music is limiting. Here at Little Star Video, we do all the work for you. Now if we could only do the work of uploading your pictures for you.

What steps are involved to submit my pictures?
Detailed instructions will be sent to you. There are two easy ways to submit your pictures to us. You choose which is easier for you.
1. Upload them directly to our site.
2. Burn them to a CD and mail them to us.

How long will it take to receive the finished video?
The length of time usually depends on the length of the video but the usual turn around time is 1-2 weeks. If you need it sooner we can arrange to have it produced quicker for an additional fee.

Do you only accept digital pictures and video?
At this time, yes, we only accept digital images. If you have images that are not digital, please scan them before submitting to us. Most pictures can be easily scanned at many retail locations.

How does the song selection work?
If you have a particular song or songs that you would like on your video please let us know the artist and title of the song. We also suggest songs that we think will work well with your video or we can select the song for you. We will purchase the song(s) on your behalf for your video. For copyright purposes you can only use the video for personal use and not commercial.

How do I submit video clips?
At this time, if you have video clips, you can burn them to a dvd or upload them to our website. We cannot guarantee that all video formats will be accepted. The most common video clips that we receive are short clips from digital cameras. If you wish, you can send us your camcorder (with the connection wires) or your mini dvds for us to upload for you. Please make sure that you have a copy before you mail it to us. From there we can select the best clips or you can note which clips you prefer we use.

What payments to you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks and all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover) through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay with a credit card. We send you an email invoice and PayPal instructs you on how to pay securely online.

Do you only create DVD videos?
Yes, at this time, we only create our movies for use in DVD players and personal computers. We produce all of our slideshows in High Definition widescreen using DVD-R format that is compatible with 93% of DVD players. If for any reason the DVD format is not compatible with your DVD player, we will switch the format for one that is.

What if I have multiple pictures from multiple families or friends to collect?
We work with multiple friends and family pictures on several occasions. If you would like we can email or mail an information packet to the other members with instructions on how to upload their images. Since you can easily upload directly to our website, it makes it easy to manage multiple images from multiple locations. You can also view what pictures have already been submitted by your friends and family. Once they are all submitted we begin the project.

Do you create videos for other events that do not involve children such as weddings, vacations, anniversaries, 40th birthday parties, etc.?
Yes. The pricing is the same. Please contact us about your video and we will produce it with the same quality and pricing as our children’s movies.
